Hong Kong Tech Delegation to Showcase Innovations at MWC 2026 and 4YFN

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), in collaboration with Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), will lead a delegation of 21 Hong Kong tech companies and institutions to showcase at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 and debut at 4 Years From Now (4YFN) 2026, taking place concurrently from 2-5 March in Barcelona, Spain. This dual-presence at world-class tech exhibitions aims to expand market reach and highlight Hong Kong's innovation and technology (I&T) capabilities on the global stage.

Building on the momentum from MWC 2025, the delegation will feature solutions beyond connectivity, covering Devices and Systems, Digital Transformation, and support from Ecosystem Partners. The pavilion will provide a comprehensive picture of Hong Kong's I&T strengths, engaging global telecom leaders, enterprise decision-makers, industry partners, and investors. It bridges cutting-edge research and development into real-world applications, propelling Hong Kong's I&T sector internationally.

Iris Wong, Director of Merchandise Trade and Innovation and External Relations at HKTDC, stated, "The Hong Kong Tech Pavilion is an ideal platform for Hong Kong tech enterprises to present their latest R&D achievements at major international tech gatherings, support their journey to explore overseas markets, while highlighting Hong Kong’s strengths as an international innovation and technology hub." Derek Chim, Head of Startup Ecosystem and Development at HKSTP, added, "MWC is a global bellwether for communications technology and tech companies at any stage, to connect with the industry and investors, to have a solid ground that validate solutions, catalyse pilot projects, accelerate commercialisation, and scale internationally."

Throughout the events, a series of dialogues and exchanges, including networking receptions, themed talks, and pitching sessions, will facilitate partnerships and investment opportunities for market-ready solutions with high potential for expansion. Notable examples include Asmote and Cresento. Asmote, under the Connectivity category and located at MWC, specializes in mmWave technology for Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC), particularly in drone communications and control. This technology supports Hong Kong's low-altitude economy initiatives and manages industrial scenarios such as smart ports and dark factories. Asmote previously secured the world’s first 26GHz mmWave 5G commercial communications project, demonstrating leadership in industrial-grade applications.

Cresento, located at 4YFN, focuses on AI-powered shin guards that deliver real-time performance analytics and team leaderboards for football players. Designed to integrate seamlessly into existing gear, Cresento is moving from prototypes to pilot collaborations with European football clubs, academies, and sport tech platforms.

HKTDC and HKSTP continue to support Hong Kong tech enterprises in going global by jointly organizing the Hong Kong Tech Pavilion. This initiative builds bridges linking tech companies with the world, expediting internationalization to meet growing global demand for I&T. It attracts talents, facilitates forward-looking investments, and explores opportunities globally, realizing entrepreneurs' missions and consolidating Hong Kong's position as an international I&T hub.

The Hong Kong Tech Pavilion will be located at MWC – Booth 6E44 at Hall 6 and 4YFN – Booth 8.1B31 at Hall 8.1. For more information, visit https://bit.ly/MWC2026HKTech.
