The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) announced that its five concurrent fairs—Food Expo, Beauty & Wellness Expo, Home Delights Expo, Food Expo PRO, and Hong Kong International Tea Fair—concluded successfully, attracting over 520,000 public visits, a record high. Per capita spending reached HK$1,685, reflecting robust consumer sentiment and a strong appetite for gourmet food, healthy living, and quality home products. The trade-oriented Food Expo PRO and Tea Fair drew approximately 20,000 buyers from 64 countries and regions, reinforcing Hong Kong's status as a premier food trading hub.

The fairs, themed 'Live Well · Stay Well', showcased a diverse range of products from over 1,850 exhibitors across 30 countries and regions. According to a survey conducted during the event, 87% of respondents spent as much or more than planned, with over 80% expressing interest in health and wellness products. Notably, 62% were interested in health and functional foods, 51% in supplements, and 40% in wellness products. The survey also highlighted growing interest in halal-certified items and products catering to the silver-age market, indicating potential for future growth.

Smilely Lam, Associate Executive Director of HKTDC, said: 'This year's fairs received an enthusiastic response. Attendance recorded solid growth, and per capita spending reached a record high alongside visitor numbers, reflecting strong market demand for quality food, healthy living, and novel experiences.' She also noted that exhibitors and buyers concluded multiple cooperation agreements, underscoring Hong Kong's role as a two-way trade platform connecting mainland China with international markets.

The public fairs featured themed days, interactive experiences, and exclusive promotions. The Food Expo's Gourmet Zone introduced Hong Kong's first chewy treats market, drawing enthusiastic crowds. The Beauty & Wellness Expo offered holistic experiences, including aroma-emotion testing, while the Home Delights Expo showcased smart home solutions and sleep technology. Exhibitors reported strong sales; Uni-China Group expected total sales of HK$1 million to HK$1.4 million, and Vogue Bio anticipated exceeding HK$1 million, far surpassing expectations.

The trade fairs facilitated significant business deals. The Chinese Mainland premium agricultural products 'Going Global' event recorded intended transactions exceeding HK$1.8 billion. Henan Yunong Youpin connected with wholesalers, targeting RMB10 million in cooperation. The Korea Pavilion expanded by 40%, becoming the largest overseas pavilion, and signed a MoU with HKTDC.

Singapore-based SBY Frozen Food identified Brazilian beef and chicken suppliers, estimating annual procurement of US$3-5 million.
