The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is set to stage the Fashion Hong Kong professional showroom in Paris from June 24 to 28, aligning with Paris Men's Fashion Week. This initiative, held for the first time during the event, will feature Hong Kong fashion designer brands showcasing their Spring/Summer 2027 collections. The showroom will be located at 4 Rue de la Paix in Paris' renowned fashion district.
This year's event marks a significant milestone as the first cross-sector collaboration between HKTDC and Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl). The partnership aims to integrate Hong Kong's creative industries with professional services, combining HKTDC's international promotional platform with Hactl's expertise in cargo operations and logistics management. This collaboration supports Hong Kong brands in exploring new international opportunities, particularly in an industry increasingly driven by speed, connectivity, and sustainability.
Among the participating brands, popular local labels MARCCH and MATTER MATTERS will debut collaborative pieces created with acclaimed Paris-based artist Yaz Bukey, showcasing a fusion of Hong Kong design and European creativity. The showroom will display a range of apparel and fashion accessories from various Hong Kong designer brands, including Kinks Lab, Pabe Pabe, PLOTZ, and more.
A networking reception is scheduled for June 27, expected to attract around 200 industry professionals, media representatives, and buyers. This event aims to create further opportunities for Hong Kong brands to connect with the international fashion community and explore business collaborations. The reception will include a media interview session from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm, followed by networking from 5:30 pm to 7 pm.
Through the Fashion Hong Kong event series, HKTDC provides comprehensive, one-stop international promotion support for Hong Kong designer brands. The program enables local brands to connect with overseas buyers, media, and industry players, widening their brand exposure and expanding into European and global markets. Exhibitions, business matching, and promotional activities facilitate direct engagement with international markets, solidifying Hong Kong's role as an East-meets-West centre for cultural exchange.
Media representatives are invited to attend the showroom and networking reception. Registration can be done onsite with a business card and press pass, or by RSVPing via email to ROMCOM (events@romcom.global) by June 18.
