HKTDC Opens Seven Major Lifestyle and Licensing Events in Hong Kong, Attracting 5,600 Exhibitors

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council launched seven flagship events covering gifts, home, fashion, printing, packaging, and licensing, drawing global exhibitors to showcase innovations and foster business connections.

HKTDC Opens Seven Major Lifestyle and Licensing Events in Hong Kong, Attracting 5,600 Exhibitors

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) today officially opened its seven flagship lifestyle and licensing events, bringing together some 5,600 exhibitors from over 30 countries and regions. The events include the Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, Home InStyle, and Fashion InStyle at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, as well as the Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair and DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong at AsiaWorld-Expo, running until April 30. The Hong Kong International Licensing Show and Asian Licensing Conference are held concurrently until April 29 at the convention centre.

HKTDC Executive Director Sophia Chong highlighted Hong Kong's role as a super connector and super value-adder, bridging the Chinese Mainland's market with the rest of the world. She noted that Hong Kong's innovation ecosystem and intellectual property infrastructure make it an ideal base for companies to grow and commercialize creativity.

The Gifts & Premium Fair and Home InStyle feature a new "Reimagine" themed floor at Hall 5, offering buyers a one-stop overview of global trends in lifestyle homeware and gifting products. Exhibitors are unveiling new products, such as Wei Yit Vacuum Flask Manufactory's Camel Brand MINI20 thermos blind box and PREN Ltd's infection-prevention mobile toilet. The Hall of Fine Design at the Gifts & Premium Fair gathers over 100 exhibitors with design-led products, including Star Industrial Co., Ltd's Red A "Made in Hong Kong" mini-series blind boxes and Moral Team Holdings Ltd's Napier Coded backpack for pickleball enthusiasts.

Home InStyle presents the Gerontech and Innovative Material Pavilion, showcasing over 20 local enterprises with products like Scan Infinity Ltd's TechFitX Smart Sports Training System and Sinomax's bionic ultrasonic sleep soother. The Cultural and Creative Avenue gathers design institutions from over 10 countries, with highlights including Indonesia's PT MANAMU ANAIA SUMBA and Czech exhibitor Izaak Reich Crystal s.r.o. Pantone returns as colour partner, presenting home décor trends through the PANTONE 2026 Colour of the Year "Cloud Dancer".

Fashion InStyle's highlighted zone NEXT@Fashion InStyle, sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA), demonstrates material innovation driving sustainability. The Philippines joins as featured partner. Exhibitors include Belgium's Bloom Biotech with microalgae leather and Finland's Spinnova PLC with SPINNOVA® fibre. Project ambassador Han Chong leads six local designer brands, incorporating materials from French, Indonesian, and Hong Kong suppliers. The full design collection will be unveiled at the NEXT fashion parade.

The Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair and DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong highlight eco-friendly solutions, such as Elements Printing and Packaging Limited's FSC Transparent Non-plastic packaging and Guangzhou Xingqiyuan Trading Co., Ltd.'s eco-friendly wet-press paper-pulp packaging. DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong features Ijen Enterprises Ltd.'s 3D rotating music boxes and Marshallom (Holdings) Limited's dual-purpose paper lantern canister.

The Hong Kong International Licensing Show introduces a new IP and e-Commerce Support Services zone, uniting e-commerce platforms and marketing firms to help brands capitalize on e-commerce growth. Headline IPs include Potatoz by 9GAG Limited and LuLu the Piggy by Toyzeroplus Limited. The concurrent Asian Licensing Conference features speakers like Maura Regan of Licensing International and Alessandro Villa of FIFA, discussing global trends and sports licensing. Around 60 thematic seminars and forums will cover topics such as the silver economy, sustainability, and generative AI in printing.
