HIFI Secures $37 Million to Unify Stablecoin Payments and Tokenized Capital Markets

HIFI, a financial infrastructure company providing stablecoin payments and tokenized assets, has raised $37 million in Series A funding led by Left Lane Capital. The investment, announced on September 24, 2026, will scale HIFI's tokenized capital markets infrastructure and expand its product suite, including stablecoin payments and card products. The funding round signals growing investor confidence in the convergence of traditional finance and blockchain-based settlement, a shift that could redefine how value moves globally.

The significance of this raise lies in HIFI's unique positioning at the intersection of payments, spending, and capital markets. The company's infrastructure already processes over $7 billion in annualized volume, serves more than 10,000 businesses and 200,000 end users, and reaches across 87 countries. HIFI was selected to participate in DTCC's July production trades using DTC-tokenized assets, alongside BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, and Nasdaq. In September, it announced a partnership with Visa to expand money movement and card capabilities, beginning with stablecoin-funded payouts to over 4 billion Visa cards worldwide. These milestones underscore HIFI's role in bridging stablecoins with traditional financial rails.

HIFI's approach treats settlement as a single problem rather than three separate ones. According to CEO Zach Walsh, "Whether it's a stablecoin settling a payment, a tokenized receivable funding a card, or a tokenized security clearing a trade, the underlying event is identical: value moves and settles at the same instant, instead of moving now and settling days later." This unified layer could eliminate the fragmented infrastructure that has historically separated payments, spending, and capital markets, enabling developers to build products that operate seamlessly across networks and borders.

The market opportunity is substantial. Citi projects the stablecoin market could reach $1.9 trillion by 2030, up from roughly $300 billion today, underpinning as much as $100 trillion in annual onchain settlement volume. Public equities are expected to lead the charge, with approximately 3% of the U.S. equity market tokenized by the end of the decade. As regulations emerge market by market, each jurisdiction introduces its own banking partners, stablecoin issuers, payment networks, and compliance requirements. HIFI absorbs this complexity, allowing customers to build once and operate across every rail and jurisdiction it supports.

Left Lane Capital, which led the round, sees HIFI as a foundational platform. "The growth HIFI has demonstrated reflects both the strength of the team and the speed at which stablecoins have become a core part of global financial infrastructure," said Matthew Miller, Managing Partner at Left Lane Capital. "We believe HIFI will become a foundational platform for the next generation of financial applications." The venture firm's backing, alongside HIFI's existing partnerships with Sumitomo, Dapper, and Arival Bank, positions the company to capitalize on the accelerating migration of financial assets to blockchain networks.
