HFFR Injury Attorneys Rebrands to Put Partner-Led Representation Front and Center in Mississippi

Mississippi personal injury firm Haug Farrar Franco & Ruiz has rebranded as HFFR Injury Attorneys, a change the firm says will make its name easier to remember while signaling an unchanged commitment to representing injured people across the state. The move matters less for what it alters than for what it preserves: the same four partners, the same phone number, the same Gulfport and Ocean Springs offices, and the same standard of care that has defined the practice for years.

Partner Stopher Haug framed the rebrand as a communication decision rather than a corporate restructuring. "Our new name better communicates who we are and what we do, and is designed to be top of mind for individuals and families who find themselves in need of high-quality legal representation," Haug said. "But what hasn't changed is the firm itself — same four partners, same phone number, same offices, same standard of care."

The rebrand arrives at a moment when personal injury law is increasingly dominated by high-volume firms that route clients through call centers and associate attorneys. HFFR positions itself as the opposite. Every client works directly with a partner from the first conversation to final resolution, a model the firm argues produces better preparation and more accountability. That structure is not a marketing slogan for HFFR; it is the operational core the partners say they built the firm around and have no intention of changing.

Partner Todd Farrar described the firm's standard in direct terms. "We've always believed that injured people deserve more than a case number and a paralegal," Farrar said. "Our standard is one partner, personally responsible for your case from day one to the final outcome — and we prepare every one of those cases as if it's going in front of a jury." That trial-ready posture can affect how insurers value claims, because carriers assess risk partly on whether a firm is genuinely prepared to litigate.

The firm's four founding partners bring a combined 75 years of Mississippi personal injury experience to each case, a depth that extends beyond the courtroom into relationships with local hospitals, doctors, courts, and insurance carriers. Partner Jonathan Franco emphasized that local footprint. "Mississippi isn't just where we practice — it's home," Franco said. "We've built our careers here, raised our families here, and developed lasting relationships throughout the communities we serve. That local knowledge of the courts, the carriers, and the medical community gives our clients a real advantage."

For injured Mississippians, the practical implication of the rebrand is continuity rather than disruption. The firm continues to focus on motor vehicle accidents involving cars, trucks, and motorcycles, along with medical malpractice and workers' compensation claims. Partner Jason Ruiz said the next chapter remains centered on outcomes. "The future of our firm is centered on achieving life-changing outcomes for our clients — and doing that in a way that stays true to who we are," Ruiz said. "We're not a volume shop. Every client gets a partner." The firm's new logo incorporates the fleur-de-lis, reinforcing its Mississippi roots as it enters that next chapter under a name built to be remembered.
