Golden Cariboo's Inaugural Resource Estimate Outlines 1.18 Million Ounces at Quesnelle, Signaling Major Growth Potential

Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. has announced an inaugural independent Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for its 100%-owned Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property in central British Columbia, defining 178,000 ounces of gold in the Indicated category and 1.0 million ounces in the Inferred category. The estimate, prepared by Sue Bird, P.Eng., of Bird Resource Consulting Corp., an independent Qualified Person under NI 43-101, has an effective date of September 26, 2026. The significance of this announcement lies in the scale of the resource relative to the limited drilling that defined it, and in the clear path it outlines for future growth.

The MRE reports 10 million tonnes at 0.56 g/t gold equivalent (AuEq) for the Indicated portion, plus 71 million tonnes at 0.44 g/t AuEq for the Inferred portion. These resources are constrained within an open pit shell using a 0.15 g/t AuEq cut-off and metal price assumptions of US$3,600 per ounce gold and US$40 per ounce silver. The resource is detailed in Table 1. Inaugural Mineral Resource Estimate for the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property at the Base Case cutoff - Effective Date September 26, 2026, which provides the full breakdown by category and zone. A sensitivity analysis to cut-off grade is also provided, as shown in Table 2 is provided to illustrate the sensitivity of the estimate to cut-off grade. The base-case cut-off used for the Mineral Resource Statement is highlighted. Sensitivity cases do not constitute alternative Mineral Resource Statements., demonstrating the robustness of the estimate across different mining scenarios.

What makes this resource particularly notable is that it was defined from only 24 of the 30 Company drill holes, totaling less than 8,500 metres of drilling. As President and CEO Frank Callaghan stated, this limited drilling has outlined over 1.0 million ounces of inferred gold and 178,000 ounces of indicated gold. The Halo deposit, which hosts the resource, occurs over a strike length of 1,150 metres and a width of about 420 metres and remains open in all directions. Equally important, the Main zone remains outside the current estimate, as do four other parallel, similar-styled geophysical and geochemical targets with multi-kilometer potential, providing a compelling opportunity for future resource growth. A long-section through the center of the deposit, looking southwest, illustrates the grade distribution and the confining resource pit, available in Click to see the figure which is a long-section through the center of the deposit, looking SW at Az=235o. The figure plots the composited and block Au grades for both the Halo and North Hixon zones of the deposit. The resource pit is shown in black with.

The project benefits from excellent existing infrastructure. Located only 4 kilometers from Hixon, British Columbia, the Property has year-round road access and is near an existing rail corridor. Major suppliers, contractors, equipment providers, and regional mining support services are readily accessible from nearby Prince George and Quesnel, both approximately 45 minutes away and hosting regional and international airports as well as government offices. This established network positions the project to efficiently advance exploration and development while maximizing opportunities for local employment, procurement, and long-term economic benefits throughout the Cariboo region. The Company's website, www.goldencariboo.com, provides further details on the project and corporate activities.

Investors should note that mineral resources are not mineral reserves and do not have demonstrated economic viability. A substantial portion of the estimate is in the Inferred category, which has a lower level of confidence and may be materially affected by environmental, permitting, legal, title, taxation, socio-political, marketing, or other relevant issues. The Company has not completed a preliminary economic assessment, pre-feasibility study, or feasibility study, and no production decision has been made. The technical report supporting the MRE will be filed on SEDAR+ within 45 days. The full release is available on www.newmediawire.com.
