Treviño Law has announced the addition of Guilherme “Gui” Vasconcelos, an internationally trained trial lawyer with a track record of securing major verdicts for injured Texans. Vasconcelos, who is licensed in both Texas and Brazil, brings deep courtroom experience, multilingual communication skills in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, and a career dedicated exclusively to personal injury law.
Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Vasconcelos earned a Juris Doctor and a Master of Laws focused on Constitutional Law in Brazil. After building a strong litigation foundation there, he moved to the United States in 2016 and completed an LLM (Master of Laws) at the University of Texas School of Law, graduating with Pro Bono Honors for extensive volunteer legal work. Since 2018, he has been a member of the Texas Bar College, an honor reserved for attorneys who demonstrate exceptional commitment to legal education and professionalism.
Before joining Treviño Law, Vasconcelos managed and litigated more than 500 cases at DJC Law Firm in Austin, resulting in over $8 million in gross settlements for injury clients. He also served as Managing Attorney at Ramos James Law Firm in Austin, where he led legal teams and supervised complex litigation. His courtroom performance includes a $4.5 million verdict in Travis County in 2024 and a $1.3 million verdict in Dallas County in 2025. He is an alumnus of the Trial Advocacy College of Texas (TACT) and a member of both the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40.
The addition of Vasconcelos is significant for Treviño Law as it enhances the firm's trial capacity and ability to serve clients across diverse communities. His multilingual background ensures that more injury victims have access to a trial-tested lawyer who can communicate directly without language barriers. This development underscores the importance of effective legal representation for non-English speaking clients in Texas, a state with a large and growing Hispanic population.
Vasconcelos’s track record of securing substantial verdicts and his experience with over 500 cases highlight his capability to handle complex personal injury litigation. His move to Treviño Law signals the firm's commitment to aggressive case preparation and trial excellence, aiming to secure full justice for injured clients. For those seeking legal representation, Vasconcelos is now available to fight for them. A free consultation can be scheduled at https://www.rjt-law.com/contact/.
