Mitch Gould's journey from a family table in Brooklyn to a leading figure in the consumer products industry illustrates how early lessons in manufacturing and distribution can shape a career spanning three decades. Gould has worked with major retailers like Walmart, Costco, CVS, Walgreens, and Amazon, and has collaborated with notable figures such as Wayne Gretzky, Hulk Hogan, and Chuck Norris. His proprietary Evolution of Distribution® model simplifies market entry for international brands, integrating sales, logistics, regulatory guidance, marketing, and public relations into a unified strategy.
Gould's early exposure to retail came from three generations of family entrepreneurs. His great-grandfather pioneered closet accessories in Brooklyn, and his grandfather worked in manufacturing and distribution. These experiences instilled principles of relationships, reputation, and consistent results. "I learned retail around the kitchen table long before I ever stepped into a boardroom," Gould said. "Those early lessons became the foundation for everything I've accomplished."
As Gould's career expanded globally, he gained insight into challenges faced by international brands entering the U.S. market. This led to the creation of the Evolution of Distribution®, a model that unites essential disciplines for launching products in the United States. The approach combines product readiness, retail sales, logistics, regulatory guidance, marketing, and public relations into a coordinated strategy.
Using this model, Gould has helped place products with top retailers and built Amazon's sports nutrition category from the ground up, turning it into a business generating more than $100 million. His client roster includes sports and entertainment legends such as Jimmy Connors, Steven Seagal, Joe Theismann, Steve Garvey, Chuck Liddell, Ronnie Coleman, Bob Wall, and Roberto Clemente Jr. Today, Gould continues to work with emerging companies in health, wellness, food, beverage, beauty, and consumer products.
Gould's career is chronicled in his memoir, The Blonde, The Ferrari, and The Kwan: A True American Story of Love and Success, which shares personal experiences and defining moments. Despite his achievements, Gould believes his greatest opportunities lie ahead. "Every chapter of my career has built on the one before it," he said. "The lessons my family passed down in Brooklyn still guide every decision I make. Markets evolve, technology changes, and retail continues to transform, but integrity, relationships, and delivering results never go out of style."
