Freeman The Treeman, a family-owned outdoor services company based in Moscow, PA, has surpassed 16 years of continuous operation providing tree service and excavation in Northeast PA. The milestone underscores the staying power of a local business that has built its reputation on returning customers, word-of-mouth referrals, and a steadily expanding service area across the region.
Sixteen years in business is a significant achievement for any locally owned company, and for Freeman The Treeman it reflects a consistent operational approach: arrive on schedule, complete the work correctly, and maintain direct communication with the property owner at every stage. That track record spans well over a decade of projects, from routine lawn care maintenance to excavation and land clearing, with the same level of attention applied to each job regardless of scale.
The company's full-service model is central to its value proposition. Freeman The Treeman offers tree removal, excavation, tree trimming and pruning, stump grinding, landscaping, lawn care, and seasonal snow removal. Because the crew delivers professional tree service and lawncare alongside excavation work, property owners do not need to coordinate between multiple contractors when a project spans more than one trade. A job that starts as a tree removal, for example, may also call for grading or site cleanup—work the same team can handle without bringing in outside help. Each job is quoted with itemized pricing and no hidden fees, giving property owners a clear picture of costs before work begins.
Beyond warm-weather services, Freeman The Treeman provides Snow removal services for commercial customers, giving business owners a single point of contact for outdoor property maintenance across all four seasons. The snow removal offering covers parking areas, sidewalks, and entryways, coordinated through the same direct communication the company uses for its tree and lawn work. This seasonal service completes a full calendar of outdoor services, simplifying scheduling and removing the uncertainty that comes with hiring unfamiliar contractors for each new project.
Moscow, PA serves as the home base for Freeman The Treeman, positioning the crew within reach of communities throughout Northeast Pennsylvania. Local ownership means the people making decisions live and work in the same region as the customers they serve, and response times reflect that geographic proximity. The company's longevity in the area points to a consistent operational approach that has sustained it for more than a decade and a half.
The company has also launched a redesigned website intended to make it easier for property owners to explore available services and submit an estimate request. The new site gives each service category—tree service, excavation, landscaping, lawn care, and snow removal—its own dedicated page. Visitors can read customer reviews, find answers to common questions about pricing, estimates, and tree health, view the towns the company serves, and submit a free estimate request online. The updated design follows the same approach the crew applies in the field: clear information, defined next steps, and no guesswork for the property owner.
For property owners who depend on professional tree service and lawncare or who need tree service and excavation in Northeast PA, working with one established local crew across multiple service categories simplifies scheduling and provides a reliable alternative to juggling multiple contractors. Freeman The Treeman's 16-year milestone is not just a number—it represents a sustained commitment to the communities it serves and a model of convenience that resonates with homeowners and business owners alike.
