Bestselling and award-winning author Jody Sharpe has announced that her latest book about angels, New Angel In Town, will be available at no charge in ebook form on September 26 and 27, 2026, at Amazon. The novel is the seventh installment in her Mystic Bay series, a collection that has garnered a devoted readership for its blend of spiritual wonder and small-town charm. The limited-time giveaway offers both longtime fans and new readers an accessible entry point into a fictional universe where angels walk among humans, quietly shaping lives and delivering hope.
Set in the fictional town of Mystic Bay, California, New Angel In Town continues Sharpe's exploration of a community where angels live as humans and miracles are part of daily life. The story follows Guardian Angel Ron, who descends to live a human existence in order to ensure his charge, Evan, a boy in foster care, finds a forever home. Meanwhile, writer Noah Greenstreet is crafting a film that showcases the townsfolk's angel encounters. With twists and turns and a bully to turn around, Angel Ron must decide whether to remain in the harmonious town. The narrative weaves together themes of child advocacy, love, and the transformative power of goodwill, all under the guiding presence of angels.
Early readers have responded with enthusiasm. One Amazon reviewer praised the book as "a masterclass in child advocacy, true love, and angel-ology," adding that "the concept of angels living among us as humans is handled with such grace and wit." Another noted that "the angel experiences shared in the book seem real and remind the reader of the meaning of love and how it can change lives." Such reactions underscore why Sharpe's work resonates beyond entertainment, offering a vision of compassion that readers can apply in their own communities.
Both the print and ebook versions of New Angel In Town are available at Amazon, and the free ebook promotion makes the story accessible to a wider audience.
