KJT Law Group, a Glendale-based law firm, has announced that four of its attorneys have been named to the 2027 Southern California Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists. The recognition, which is based on an independent peer-review process, underscores the firm's dedication to personal injury and employment law.
Caspar Jivalagian, founding partner, and Aaron Turchin, a trial attorney with over two decades of experience, were both named to the Super Lawyers list in the personal injury plaintiff practice area. This is Jivalagian's first selection, while Turchin has now been honored three times. Tro Semerjian, who handles habitability and personal injury cases, and Levon S. Yepremian, who represents employees in discrimination, retaliation, and wage disputes, were named to the Rising Stars list. Semerjian received his first selection, and Yepremian has now been selected five times.
The Super Lawyers selection process involves peer nominations, independent research across 12 indicators of professional achievement, and peer review by practice area. The final list represents the top 5% of attorneys in the state. Rising Stars candidates undergo a similar process but are limited to attorneys who are 40 years old or younger or have practiced for 10 years or less, and the list represents the top 2.5% of attorneys.
Selection cannot be purchased, and attorneys are not required to buy any products to be included. Super Lawyers verifies each candidate's standing with local licensing authorities and ensures there are no outstanding disciplinary matters. This recognition provides third-party validation of the attorneys' standing among their peers, which can be an important factor for prospective clients.
