U.S. Term Limits announced today that former State Representative Linda Massimilla has agreed to serve as New Hampshire State Co-Chair for the organization, alongside former State Senate President Chuck Morse. Massimilla, a longtime supporter of congressional term limits, brings extensive public service experience to the role, having served as an elementary school teacher, adjunct faculty at Plymouth State University, and a state representative for Grafton 1.
Massimilla expressed her commitment to the cause, stating, 'I am honored to serve as the New Hampshire State Co-Chair for U.S. Term Limits and eager to work with Senator Morse on this issue. Now more than ever before, the need for term limits is crystal clear. Polls show that one issue that unites all citizens regardless of political affiliation is the need for congressional term limits. Over 80% of Americans want congressional term limits enacted at once to bring true reform to our government and end the dysfunction of entrenched ways that we see in Washington, D.C. daily.'
Highlighting the constitutional avenue available to states, Massimilla added, 'When government ceases to work for we the people, the Founding Fathers included a constitutional amendment process to be used by the states to right the country. If the times we live in, don't warrant this usage, then when does?'
