ESGold Corp. Advances Toward May Drill Program at Montauban Project, Pursues Multi-Pronged Gold Revenue Strategy

ESGold Corp. (CSE: ESAU) (OTCQB: ESAUF) is preparing to commence a drill program in May at its Montauban Gold-Silver Project in Quebec, marking a key step in its multi-pronged strategy to generate near-term gold revenue. The company is simultaneously advancing the construction of a fully permitted mill on site and expanding its exploration scope across the 20,618-hectare project.

The drill program is expected to further define priority targets, building on previous exploration work. ESGold is employing a low CapEx strategy, funded through a private placement initiative and an agreement with Ocean Partners UK Ltd. that provides a credit facility and a dedicated buyer for gold and silver produced from its planned tailings cleanup operation. This approach allows the company to progress without significant upfront capital expenditure.

CEO Gordon Robb stated in a news release, "We are fully funded to execute on this plan, and our focus is on disciplined execution across both development and exploration as we move through what we believe will be a very important period for the company." The company's strategy capitalizes on strong gold market conditions, with gold prices having doubled since January 2025 and expected to remain near record levels, benefiting producers positioned to meet continued demand.

ESGold's Montauban project is a past-producing mine with existing infrastructure, which the company intends to leverage to accelerate production. The tailings cleanup operation is expected to provide an initial revenue stream, with the mill construction enabling processing of both tailings and future ore. The drill program aims to expand the resource base and support long-term production plans.
