Drug-Free World Mobile Exhibit Engages Thousands at Glendale Cruise Night

The Foundation for a Drug-Free World featured its interactive Mobile Exhibit at the 31st Annual Glendale Cruise Night on July 18, 2026, drawing thousands of attendees to Brand Boulevard in Downtown Glendale. The event, one of Southern California's premier classic car shows, attracted over 45,000 people with hundreds of classic cars, live music, vendor booths, and family activities. Amid the festivities, the Drug-Free World Mobile Exhibit offered free, fact-based educational materials aimed at preventing drug abuse and empowering youth to live drug-free lives.

Visitors to the Mobile Exhibit explored high-impact audio and visual displays and received free Truth About Drugs educational booklets covering substances such as alcohol, marijuana, prescription drugs, and synthetics. The exhibit provided a hands-on learning experience, with interactive displays detailing the real-world physical and mental impacts of drug abuse. Free materials for families and educators included comprehensive informational booklets, DVDs, and curriculum packs available at no cost.

"Reaching youth and families where they gather is vital to effective drug prevention," said Karla Bartholomew, Chapter President for Foundation for a Drug-Free World. "Cruise Night offers a wonderful community setting to share fact-based information that empowers individuals—especially young people—to make informed, healthy life choices."

A key highlight of the exhibit was the pledge drive, where youth and community members could take the "Drug-Free Pledge." During the event, 141 individuals, mainly children and teens, committed to living drug-free. The Foundation for a Drug-Free World, a nonprofit international drug education program sponsored by the Church of Scientology and Scientologists, supports the humanitarian goal of creating a drug-free, crime-free world where human rights are a reality, as envisioned by Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard.
