Dr. Arthur A. Kezian DDS is launching his 11th annual science scholarship, continuing a tradition that has provided financial assistance to students pursuing degrees in scientific fields. The Dr. Arthur A. Kezian DDS Science Scholarship will award $1,200 to one eligible student for the 2026–2027 academic year. The re-launch comes after the most recent winner was awarded earlier this year, and details about that recipient are available at https://www.drkezian.com/2026-scholarship-winner/.
The scholarship is open to high school seniors through fourth-year undergraduates, with applicants required to be between the ages of 16 and 28 and majoring in a field of science. The award is based on academic merit, community service, and financial need. Applications open on November 1, 2026, and the deadline to apply is March 31, 2027. The winner will be announced by September 2027.
This scholarship matters because it addresses the rising cost of higher education and encourages students to pursue science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields. By offering financial support, Dr. Kezian helps reduce barriers for students who might otherwise struggle to afford their education. The emphasis on community service also promotes a sense of civic responsibility among young scientists.
Dr. Kezian expressed pride in all applicants and emphasized the importance of rewarding student achievements. "I'm so proud of all the applicants that applied to our scholarship," he said. "All the students were hard working, dedicated, and deserving of the award; but, like many other programs, there had to be one winner. I want to thank each and every one of the applicants and applaud them for their achievements. I decided to start the scholarship again this year to give another student the chance to win. Rewarding students who have significant individual accomplishments can help them reach their objectives and strive for higher education."
