D1 Training Expands into Forsyth County with New Location

D1 Training, a premier athletic fitness brand known for its sports-science backed training regimen, has expanded into Forsyth County with a new location at 2569 Peachtree Pkwy. The facility offers group fitness programs based on five core athletic tenets: dynamic warm-up, performance, strength program, core and conditioning, and cool down. Certified trainers lead sessions designed to help individuals of all ages achieve their sport and fitness goals.

The new location is owned by Adam and Mindy Pure, parents of four active children who are deeply involved in sports. For the Pures, opening D1 Training was a lifestyle choice rooted in family and community. Adam, originally from Pennsylvania, spent over 20 years operating a 24/7 answering service in Georgia, where he developed a strong belief in team culture and purpose-driven organizations. Mindy, who moved to Georgia in 2007, has a background in retail and community involvement, having served as a preschool teacher and volunteer organizer. She currently works as an administrator at a local temple, bringing her commitment to youth development to the venture.

D1 Training offers four age-based programs: Rookie (ages 7-11), Developmental (ages 12-14), Prep (ages 15-18), and D1 Adult. The programs incorporate the five tenets to build confidence, character, and resilience. In addition to group workouts, D1 Training provides semi-private and one-on-one training with world-class coaches. The brand’s partners include NBA star Chris Paul and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow, as well as franchisees like professional athletes Kylie Fitts and Jordan Gay.

“Our goal is to create a space where families grow stronger together—where kids, teens, and adults are challenged, supported, and inspired every step of the way,” said Adam Pure. The brand’s Chief Operating Officer, Dan Murphy, expressed confidence in the Pures’ ability to bring the D1 experience to Cumming and Suwanee, stating, “D1 is a one-of-a-kind fitness experience that’s built around the individual and meant to help people meet their athletic goals.”

D1 Training has more than 100 performance centers open nationwide, with over 100 additional locations in development. The brand is seeking franchisees who are passionate about fitness and youth sports. For more information, visit D1 Training South Forsyth.
