cyan AG Secures First German ISP Client via CANCOM Partnership, Signaling Growing Demand for Cybersecurity Value-Added Services

cyan AG, a provider of intelligent cybersecurity solutions, announced today that it has acquired its first German Internet service provider (ISP) as a customer through its partnership with CANCOM, one of Germany's largest IT system integrators. This milestone comes just months after the partnership was announced, highlighting the rapid execution of cyan's growth strategy. Contracts with additional German ISPs are expected to follow shortly, according to the company.

Starting in September 2026, the ISP will actively market cyan's cybersecurity solution, cyan Guard 360, to its customers. The solution is designed to protect small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) from digital threats such as phishing, a growing concern in the current threat landscape. The deal reflects a structural increase in demand in the ISP market, where providers are increasingly seeking high-quality value-added services to sustainably increase their average revenue per user (ARPU). cyan Guard 360 addresses this need by offering a simple, cloud-based cybersecurity solution that can be easily integrated into existing provider infrastructures.

The focus of cyan Guard 360 is on protecting residential customers and SMBs from phishing, malware, and other malicious content. The solution can be implemented quickly, is intuitive to use, and requires no significant additional effort on the part of the customer. ISPs can use it to expand their service portfolio while simultaneously tapping into new, high-margin revenue streams. Markus Cserna, CEO of cyan AG, commented: "The first direct ISP deal in Germany is concrete proof that our growth strategy is working – and at a remarkable pace. There is strong and growing demand among German Internet service providers to offer their customers real added value through cybersecurity services while simultaneously increasing ARPU. Our cybersecurity solution, cyan Guard 360, meets this need."

cyan AG has nearly 20 years of experience in the IT industry and offers security products for end customers of mobile and fixed network internet providers and financial service providers. The company's solutions are integrated as white label products into the apps and system landscapes of international business partners, who then offer them to private and business customers under their own brand. cyan operates its own research and development center to identify industry trends early and develop optimal product solutions. Its customers include the Orange Group, Deutsche Telekom (Magenta/T-Mobile), and Claro Chile (America Movil Group).

The partnership with CANCOM, a leading provider of hybrid IT services and managed services, has been instrumental in securing this first ISP client. The Marketplace provided by CANCOM enables cyan to reach a broader network of potential customers. As the cybersecurity landscape continues to evolve, the demand for such value-added services is expected to grow, positioning cyan and its partners for further success.
