CORAL SPRINGS, FL – Coral Springs officials are confronting a sharp rise in crashes involving electric bikes, scooters, and e-motos, devices that have become increasingly common on city streets over the past year. Since September 2025, police have responded to 49 crashes involving these vehicles, prompting the city to host an E-Bike Safety Town Hall on March 31. The urgency has only grown: as of this summer, officers are handling as many as three such crashes daily, according to officials.
