CiTech and Babcock Expand MOU to Co-Develop Nexus 20 Platform for Europe and Southeast Asia

Critical Infrastructure Technologies Ltd. (CSE: CTTT) (FRA: X9V) (“CiTech”) announced it has entered into an increased scope Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Babcock International Group to co-develop and build a rapidly deployable platform integrating 5G communications, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), and counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) capabilities. The expanded MOU now includes not only the Ukrainian Armed Forces but also all of Europe and Southeast Asia.

The original MOU, signed at the DSEI expo in London in September 2025, focused on supplying 50 of CiTech’s Nexus 20 platforms to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence. The increased scope broadens the collaboration to additional regions given significant opportunities for the Nexus 20 platform. CiTech CEO Brenton Scott expressed confidence in the expanded partnership, noting that the first Nexus 20 is expected to arrive in the EU in April 2026 for demonstrations across the region.

The Nexus 20 platform is designed to address critical gaps in rapidly deployable communication solutions. Its self-deploying platform (SDP) enhances tower strength and rapid deployment capabilities, supporting LTE and other payloads such as surveillance and anti-drone systems. This technology targets sectors including mining, defence, border security, and emergency services.

Babcock International Group, a FTSE 100 defence company operating in multiple countries, brings extensive experience in delivering complex support and product solutions. The collaboration aims to enhance defence capabilities and critical assets for customers in the expanded regions.

CiTech is commercializing its first product, the Nexus 16, and has completed research and development. The company focuses on autonomous, high-capacity, rapidly deployable technology for essential services. More information is available at www.citech.com.au.
