Charbone Reaches Major Milestone With Delivery of Its Electrolyzer to the Sorel-Tracy Site

Charbone Corporation (TSXV: CH; OTCQB: CHHYF; FSE: K47), a vertically integrated industrial gases company focused on production, distribution, and storage of clean ultra-high purity (UHP) hydrogen, announced the delivery of its electrolyzer to its flagship site in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec. This milestone is a critical step in Phase 1B of the project, confirming tangible progress in the company's development plan to increase clean UHP hydrogen production capacity and meet growing demand from its industrial customers.

The electrolyzer, designed to produce hydrogen through water electrolysis, is the technological core of the next production phase at the Sorel-Tracy site. Its delivery enables Charbone's teams, construction contractors, and technical partners to begin positioning, installation, and integration into the site's infrastructure. Civil engineering work and foundation preparation have been planned to accommodate the main production equipment. Activities will proceed according to the company's execution schedule, including component assembly, mechanical and electrical connections, testing, and commissioning.

This development is part of Charbone's modular and phased strategy, which allows the company to add production capacity in line with demand while maintaining a disciplined approach. Dave Gagnon, President and CEO of Charbone, expressed immense pride in the arrival of the electrolyzer, stating, "This is far more than the delivery of a piece of equipment, it represents the achievement of a pivotal step in realizing our vision and one of the most important milestones in the Company's history. The risks associated with delivery are now behind us." He also noted that the previously communicated timeline of a fall launch remains on track and that the company looks forward to providing updates as it advances through commissioning and ramp-up.

The delivery of the electrolyzer is a decisive step toward increased production capacity, strengthening Charbone's ability to serve key customers and create sustainable value for shareholders. The company serves sectors including semiconductors, artificial intelligence, data centers, advanced pharmaceuticals, and aerospace and defense technologies, where UHP gases are critical for high-precision manufacturing processes.

Charbone is committed to supporting the global transition to a lower-carbon economy by providing accessible, decentralized clean hydrogen and specialty gases. The company's modular, decentralized, and demand-driven approach, combined with its integrated storage and distribution platform, supports scalable growth and enhances operational flexibility.
