Charbone Projects 155% Jump in Q2 2026 Gas Income, Signaling Accelerating Demand for Clean Industrial Gases

Charbone Corporation (TSXV: CH; OTCQB: CHHYF; FSE: K47), a vertically integrated industrial gases company, announced today that its preliminary gas income for the second quarter of 2026 is expected to increase by 155% to $0.5 million, up from $0.2 million in the first quarter of 2026. This growth reflects the company's successful expansion in North American markets, particularly in the sale of clean ultra-high purity (UHP) hydrogen from its Sorel-Tracy plant and UHP helium and oxygen sourced through partners.

The significant uptick in gas income is a clear indicator of accelerating demand for essential industrial gases used in high-precision manufacturing across sectors like semiconductors, artificial intelligence, data centers, and aerospace. Charbone's strategic focus on decentralized production and integrated distribution positions it to capitalize on supply gaps and serve mid-tier customers that often struggle to source these critical gases.

For the first half of 2026, gas income is projected to reach $0.6 million, a 100% increase from the $nil reported in the same period last year. This growth is attributed to both new customer acquisitions and increased recurring revenues from existing clients, driven by heightened demand throughout Q2. The company continues to invest in its full-stack platform, including distribution equipment, to support this momentum and anticipated future sales growth.

Benoit Veilleux, CFO and Corporate Secretary of Charbone, expressed pride in the team's performance, stating, "Our team at CHARBONE is incredibly proud of the momentum we have built over the last quarter, which underscores our unwavering focus on long-term value creation. Through our targeted efforts in North America, we are not only expanding our operational footprint but also reaffirming our promise to deliver impactful, high purity and sustainable gas results that benefit our shareholders and the broader community alike."

The company expects to release its full financial and operational results for Q2 2026 on August 28, 2026, after market close. Additionally, Charbone will host a webinar on August 31, 2026, at 11:00 am EDT to discuss results and future milestones. In other corporate news, Charbone announced the engagement of IMPAQ Capital Inc. for investor relations services, effective July 16, 2026. As part of this agreement, 300,000 stock options previously announced were cancelled and regranted on July 13, 2026, under identical terms (at $0.15 per share, expiring June 22, 2028) to align with the contract's start date. IMPAQ has no direct or indirect interest in Charbone's securities other than these options.

Charbone's growth trajectory is set against a backdrop of increasing global demand for clean hydrogen and specialty gases, driven by the transition to a lower-carbon economy and the expansion of high-tech industries. The company's modular, demand-driven approach allows for scalable growth and operational flexibility, enabling it to efficiently serve a diverse customer base. With operations spanning North America and selected international markets, Charbone is well-positioned to continue delivering value to shareholders while supporting the global shift towards sustainable industrial practices.
