Haffner, Danielle Godfrey, Levi Brackman, and Meighan Leon.
These new board members bring specialized expertise in academic research, securities law, film finance, startup accounting, platform technology, and regulatory compliance. Their appointments strengthen CfPA's mission to support issuers, investors, and stakeholders navigating the capital markets.
Dr. Greg Burke is an assistant professor of accounting at Loyola University Chicago's Quinlan School of Business. His research examines the economics of investment crowdfunding in the United States, with particular focus on securities regulation, financial reporting, and entrepreneurial finance. Greg's work has been featured in media outlets, cited in congressional testimony and SEC comment letters, and discussed directly with SEC staff and Commissioners. He earned his Ph.D. from Duke University and maintains an active CPA license in Massachusetts.
Elizabeth Eichhorn is a fundraising and crowdfunding specialist and business consultant who helps entrepreneurs build practical capital-raising and growth strategies. With more than a decade of entrepreneurial experience, she has coached 1,000+ business owners on strategy, business development, and innovative financing approaches, including crowdfunding and other alternative funding paths. She is based in San Antonio, Texas.
Julian Haffner is a Member at Gordon Feinblatt LLC and Chief Legal Officer of CineBlock, a film finance and Regulation Crowdfunding platform. With more than 20 years of experience, he advises entrepreneurs and emerging companies across media, technology, and financial services. His practice focuses on venture capital, private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and private placements.
Danielle Godfrey is the founder and President of SetApart Accountancy Corp., a CPA firm specializing in startups launching crowdfunding campaigns. Her team has performed over 1,000 reviews and audits for issuers in the past seven years. She holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Regis University and a master's in accountancy in Taxation from the University of Denver.
Levi Brackman is Founder and CEO of Invown, a registered investment crowdfunding platform helping real estate sponsors and early-stage companies raise capital under Regulation Crowdfunding. Before founding Invown, Levi held senior roles in AI, data science, and analytics at Priceline and Travelport.
As Chief Legal Officer of DealMaker, Meighan Leon guides the platform through complex regulatory frameworks with a practical, business-focused approach. She works with the DealMaker team to turn compliance into opportunities for growth, supporting the company's mission to expand access to online capital formation.
