Canela.TV Launches Canela Verano with New Original Series, Telenovelas, and Rewards Program

Canela Media has announced the launch of Canela Verano on its free streaming platform Canela.TV, a seasonal celebration featuring original series, telenovelas, music shows, and family-friendly programming, along with a rewards program for registered users in the U.S. that offers summer-themed prizes. The initiative, which began on July 2, 2026, aims to provide multicultural audiences with diverse entertainment options in both English and Spanish.

Among the highlights is the original reality series Secretos de Parejas, which takes four celebrity couples to Bali, Indonesia, to explore drama, romance, and revelations. The series features Bárbara de Regil and Fernando Schoenwald, Julián Gil and Valeria Marín, Poncho de Nigris and Marcela Mistral, and Bernardo Flores and Sury Sadai. For telenovela enthusiasts, Cautiva por Amor, starring Litzy, Osvaldo de León, and Daniela Castro, presents a tale of betrayal and resilience set in a quest for truth. Additionally, the Turkish drama Safir continues its run, set against the landscapes of Cappadocia, following Feraye's story of forbidden love and family secrets.

Music programming includes Lo Que Suena, a video podcast hosted by Cesár García and Ana Sof Rojas that discusses Latin urban, pop, and regional music trends. The daily lifestyle show Café con Canela presents a special edition, Un Verano en Nueva York, where hosts Luz Blanchet, Natalia Valenzuela, and Suly Castillo explore New York City's fashion, dining, and Latino community spots. Canela.TV is also celebrating the Golden Age of Mexican cinema with classics like Amor se dice Cantando, Allá en el Rancho Grande, Los Hijos de María Morales, and Solo Veracruz es Bello.

The platform is expanding its English-language programming with curated collections for younger bilingual audiences, featuring coming-of-age, romance, comedy, drama, and action films, as well as a futuristic, AI-inspired lineup including Neo, Dragon Hunter, and Bones of Yew. Canela Music offers Ídolos: Peter Manjarrés and Canela Music Talks: Flavia Laos. For children, Canela Kids presents Bajo Terra, Captain Tsubasa, Cielitos, and Boonie Bears: Verano Maravilloso.

All content is accessible through Club Canela, the free loyalty program available in the U.S. and Mexico, where viewers earn points by watching. Starting July 10, registered users in the U.S. can redeem points for sweepstakes entries to win prizes such as speakers and grills. To participate, users can download the Canela.TV app, create an account, and join Club Canela for free.
