Canadian Salsa Festivals Project Unveils Largest-Ever 2026 Season with New Niagara Falls Event

The Canadian Salsa Festivals Project (CSFP) has announced its most extensive season to date, with events running from June through September 2026. The lineup includes the inaugural Salsa at Niagara Falls, marking the festival's first expansion into one of Canada's top tourist destinations. The season also features returning festivals such as TD Salsa at Blue Mountain, TD Salsa on St. Clair, TD Salsa Tremblant, and Salsa on Market Street, alongside year-round programs like free dance lessons and cultural exhibitions.

The new Salsa at Niagara Falls event, scheduled for September 12-13, is organized in partnership with Niagara Falls Tourism, Niagara Parks Commission, and Fallsview Casino Resort. Adam Stiles, Interim President and CEO of Niagara Falls Tourism, highlighted the event's significance, stating, "Salsa at Niagara Falls is exactly the kind of vibrant, world-class event our destination is made for." The festival is expected to boost tourism and economic activity in the region.

TD Bank Group has expanded its title sponsorship to include Salsa Tremblant in Quebec, in addition to renewing its sponsorship of Salsa on St. Clair and Salsa at Blue Mountain. Robyn Small, Senior Manager of Philanthropy at TD Bank Group, emphasized the bank's commitment to cultural access: "Festivals like TD Salsa on St. Clair bring people together to celebrate what shapes us — our stories, food, music, and art."

TLN Media Group, the founder and longtime media partner, has been instrumental in the festival's growth. Aldo Di Felice, President & Managing Partner, noted that the festival "has become one of Canada's premier cultural celebrations, bringing together hundreds of thousands of people each year."

The season kicks off with TD Salsa at Blue Mountain from June 26-28, featuring Latin music and dance in the Blue Mountain Village. Patti Kendall, President of the Blue Mountain Village Association, said the event "drives meaningful economic activity at Blue and throughout the region."

TD Salsa on St. Clair returns July 11-12 in Toronto's Hillcrest Village, offering a free street festival with over 350 live performers, including JUNO nominee Andy Ruba and Latin/tropical artist Yani Borrell. The event also features the Fiesta Parade presented by Lenpanada and over 35 authentic Latin food vendors from 15+ countries.

TD Salsa Tremblant will take place August 21-23 in Quebec's Laurentian region, transforming the Tremblant Pedestrian Village into a Latin cultural hub. Nicolas Dien, Event Director of the Tremblant Resort Association, expressed pride in hosting the event for a third consecutive year, noting it "perfectly embodies Tremblant's DNA."

Additional programs include the Vibrante Latin Art Exhibition at Toronto's Little EGG Gallery from June 6 to July 12, featuring emerging Latino artists under 18. Free dance lessons in salsa, bachata, and Latin dance will be offered across Southern Ontario from May to August. Salsa on Market Street returns August 9 in Toronto's Old Town, and family salsa dance lessons at Toronto museums run from August to October.

The Canadian Salsa Festivals Project, a federally incorporated not-for-profit, produces the Salsa in Toronto festival series. For more information, visit salsaintoronto.com or follow @salsaintoronto.
