Cali Camp, a Los Angeles day camp established in 1955 and nestled in the heart of Topanga Canyon, has announced its 2026 Open House schedule and summer camp season. The camp will hold four Open Houses from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on February 22, March 22, April 19, and May 17, giving prospective families the opportunity to tour the property, meet staff, and take part in signature camp activities. No RSVP is required.
The 2026 summer season will run from June 15 through August 14, welcoming campers ages 4 to 15 to the Santa Monica Mountains. As a summer camp near Los Angeles for ages 4-15, Cali Camp offers an activity lineup that includes swimming in the pool, arts and crafts, a ropes course, horseback riding, go-karts, zip lines, aerial arts, rock climbing, archery, gymnastics, dance, handball, and Ga-Ga.
Positioned as both an art and craft summer camp for kids in LA and an aerial arts camp for kids in Los Angeles, Cali Camp's programs are designed to give children the opportunity to grow, connect with nature, and let their imaginations run. According to the camp, the property is “a place to roam streams, meadows and oak trees,” where “campers reclaim their connection to the environment and its springboard for their imaginations.”
Beyond the Classic Camp offering, Cali Camp operates two specialty programs. Wrangler Camp, an equestrian-focused program for campers ages 8 to 14, is a specialty camp that, according to the camp, sells out fast. The Junior Leaders program provides special leadership training experiences for 14- and 15-year-olds.
At each Open House, visitors can enjoy a self-guided tour of the property, meet many of the camp's staff, learn about the program, and enjoy favorite Cali Camp activities such as handball, Ga-Ga, archery, ropes course, aerial arts, and gymnastics. Families are welcome to bring a picnic lunch to the grassy lawn or a lunch table in the Shady Oak Quad. The camp suggests allowing at least one hour for a visit.
