At CEDIA Expo 2026, BZBGEAR is debuting REEVE, a new control system designed to unify the entire smart home through a single interface. The system, which runs on a wall-mounted tablet, eliminates the need for a central rack or server PC, potentially lowering installation costs and complexity for integrators. REEVE organizes controls by zones—such as living areas, private suites, and outdoor spaces—rather than by individual devices, allowing users to manage video, audio, climate, cameras, and other connected devices from one intuitive interface. Scenes, which are saved presets, enable a single tap to trigger multiple devices across a zone, and the system operates without internet, using the cloud only for design updates and remote oversight.
REEVE is delivered as a three-part ecosystem: REEVE Studio for visual design, REEVE Player for daily client use, and REEVE Cloud for secure configuration and remote support. The software is included with compatible BZBGEAR products, with no licensing or activation fees, and the tablet is sold separately. The system supports a wide range of third-party gear, including displays from Samsung, LG, Sony, and Vizio, as well as streaming devices like Chromecast, Apple TV, and Roku.
Alongside REEVE, BZBGEAR is showcasing its full residential product lineup at Booth C900. The XLink-ONE AV-over-IP series is designed to run on standard gigabit networks, avoiding the need for expensive 10-gigabit infrastructure. The BG-IPGEAR-XTREME is a cost-effective transceiver with USB 3.1 for KVM, while the BG-IPGEAR-XTREME-PRO offers 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 support, 4K120, video wall and multiview modes, and transmission up to 170 meters over Cat5e—enough to reach a detached guest house. The PRO model earned AV Technology Best of Show at IBC 2025, and the XLink-ONE family took Best of Show at InfoComm 2026.
The AIR4KAST wireless HDMI family, which has won awards at four consecutive trade shows, is also on display. The BG-AIR4KAST provides 4K60 at approximately 164 feet line of sight, making it ideal for retrofits. The BG-AIR4KAST-MKX allows one transmitter to send signals to up to four receivers, catering to multi-display setups. The BG-AIR4KAST-PRO offers low latency (16-48ms) with 4K60 and HDR10, plus KVM capabilities, making wireless links usable for interactive applications.
BZBGEAR is also addressing the need for right-sized switching, offering a range of matrix switchers from a 4x2 at $199 to a 4x4 with video wall processing and multiview capabilities. The BG-4K-VP44 combines a seamless 4K60 matrix, video wall processor, and multiviewer in a compact desktop chassis. For 8K readiness, the company offers switchers starting at $39 and matrices from $299, emphasizing that 48Gbps bandwidth is crucial for 4K120 with 4:4:4 chroma and HDR.
Recognizing the growing home office trend, BZBGEAR is promoting KVM as an under-sold category. A 2x1 4K KVM switch is available for $149, and 8K models start at $399, supporting high refresh rates and USB 3.0. Extension solutions include a 4K HDMI/USB extender for $199 reaching 230 feet over Cat6, and a USB-C extender that carries video, USB 3.2, gigabit Ethernet, and 100W laptop charging over a single Cat run.
