Bystronic announced the nomination of Daniel Bischofberger and Fabrice Billard for election to its Board of Directors at the 2026 Annual General Meeting. They would replace Dr. Matthias Auer and Urs Riedener, who are stepping down after many years of service. The election is set for April 2026, with details on location to be announced.
Daniel Bischofberger, CEO of Accelleron Industries Ltd, brings extensive leadership in the international energy industry. His career includes roles at ABB Asea Brown Boveri and Sulzer, where he managed acquisitions, integration projects, and a stock market listing. His expertise in technology and service aligns with Bystronic's focus on systems and service business. A Swiss native, Bischofberger has worked in the US, Malaysia, and Switzerland.
Fabrice Billard, CEO of Burckhardt Compression, led a successful transformation that accelerated growth, improved profitability, and optimized processes. Before Burckhardt, he spent 12 years in leadership at Sulzer, gaining international experience across industries and markets. Born in France, Billard has worked in Switzerland, Singapore, and the Netherlands.
