Bennett McNamara Joins J. Price McNamara, Expanding Firm's Fight Against Insurance Denials

J. Price McNamara: Disability, Life, AD&D Insurance Attorneys has announced that Bennett McNamara has joined the firm as an attorney. Bennett is the son of founding attorney J. Price McNamara and his arrival brings a second generation of the McNamara family into the firm's work representing people fighting insurance companies over denied benefits. The addition comes at a time when the firm was turning away potential clients due to capacity constraints, signaling a strategic expansion to meet demand.

Bennett McNamara joined the firm after beginning his legal career in insurance defense. He earned his J.D. and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law, magna cum laude, from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2023 and is licensed to practice in Louisiana, with additional admissions in federal courts throughout Texas. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Shelly Dick at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana for two years, where he gained insight into numerous types of federal litigation, including several ERISA-related matters. This background in insurance defense and federal clerkship provides him with a unique perspective on how insurance companies operate and how to effectively challenge their decisions.

The timing of Bennett's arrival addresses a critical need for the firm. "The timing couldn't have been better. I was turning away people needing our services to assure that current clients got the time and attention their cases deserved. Having Bennett join our mission and hit the ground running after clerking for a federal judge has been a godsend," said J. Price McNamara. This statement underscores the firm's commitment to providing personalized attention to each client, even if it means declining new cases when resources are stretched. With Bennett on board, the firm can now take on more clients and continue its mission of fighting for individuals whose insurance claims have been wrongfully denied.

Bennett expressed enthusiasm about joining the family business. "I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to work alongside my father doing the impactful work that he's become so passionate about. The people we represent are facing complicated obstacles during difficult times in their lives, and it's energizing to be working for such a worthy cause," said Bennett McNamara. His personal connection to the firm's mission and his legal training position him to make significant contributions to the practice.

The firm, which has offices in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana, and Houston, Texas, represents clients in ERISA claims, long-term disability insurance disputes, and life and AD&D insurance denials. It serves clients throughout the Gulf South and, through its ERISA practice, across the country. The addition of Bennett McNamara enhances the firm's capacity to handle complex insurance litigation and expands its reach. For more information, visit J.
