Barrio Burrito Bar, a fast-casual Tex-Mex restaurant known for its bold flavors and customizable menu, has opened a new location in Boca Raton, Florida. Situated at 20449 State Rd 7, Suite A-6 inside Mission Bay Plaza, the restaurant invites guests to build their own burritos, bowls, or tacos from a selection of fresh ingredients and house-made salsas. The opening marks the brand's continued expansion in the U.S. market.
To celebrate its debut, Barrio Burrito Bar will host a Grand Opening event on November 12, featuring a one-day-only promotion offering regular burritos and bowls for just $5.99. The event underscores the brand's strategy to attract customers with affordable pricing while showcasing its fresh take on fast-casual dining.
The Boca Raton location is owned and operated by business partners Pranav Vankawala and Prateek Shrestha, experienced multi-unit franchise owners who bring over a decade of restaurant and business management expertise. According to Vankawala, the duo was drawn to Barrio Burrito Bar's operational simplicity, fresh ingredients, and flavor-forward menu. “We wanted to bring something fresh and exciting to Boca Raton’s fast-casual dining scene,” Vankawala said. “Barrio Burrito Bar combines bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and customization in a way that fits perfectly with Boca Raton’s vibrant, food-loving culture.”
The 1,100-square-foot restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating and employs 15 local staff members. The menu allows guests to customize every part of their meal, from bases like Mexican rice or lettuce to proteins such as slow-roasted carnitas or fajita veggies. Eight signature sauces, including Bang Bang and pineapple salsa, complete the experience. The restaurant aims to cater to lunch breaks, family dinners, or casual nights out, with options for dine-in, online ordering, or delivery through third-party apps.
Guests can also join the Loyalty Rewards Program to access exclusive offers and receive a complimentary order of chips and queso upon sign-up. This program is part of the brand's effort to build customer loyalty and encourage repeat visits.
The opening of the Boca Raton location highlights the growing demand for customizable, fast-casual dining experiences.
