Austin Business Owners to Gather for Growth and Exit Planning Round Table

The Exit Planning Institute (EPI) Austin Chapter is set to host its Business Owner Round Table on September 9 at Salt Traders Restaurant in Austin, Texas. The event, running from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., aims to provide business owners and their advisors with actionable insights on cultivating businesses for long-term success and eventual ownership transition.

According to Joe Calao, President of EPI Austin, the sessions are tailored to the needs of Austin-area business owners. “Each year, this event brings together business owners and top exit planning professionals from the Austin area to share challenges and insights on growth and exit strategies,” Calao said.

The round table will feature interactive sessions and expert-led workshops covering leadership development, team empowerment, organizational resilience, AI utilization, and tax planning for business owners. Attendees will also hear from Brett Hurt, a serial creator, business owner, and exiter, who will discuss his latest book, Entrepreneurs Essentials. All registrants will receive a free copy of the book.

The event is part of EPI’s broader mission to serve professional business advisors' educational and resource needs. Since its formation in 2005, EPI has offered the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) credential program, which is the most widely endorsed professional exit planning program in the world. The program provides advisors with the content, tools, and training needed to engage business owners and become their most valued advisors.

The Business Owner Round Table is a key opportunity for local entrepreneurs to gain insights that can help them maximize their businesses' potential and thrive in today's dynamic marketplace. By focusing on both growth and exit strategies, the event underscores the importance of planning for the future while managing current operations effectively.
