The Supervisory Board of AT&S has appointed Gerrit Steen (55) as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of the Management Board for a three-year term, effective February 1, 2026. From that date, AT&S will be led by a three-member Executive Board consisting of CEO Michael Mertin, CFO Gerrit Steen, and CTO Peter Griehsnig. This streamlined structure aims to enhance decision-making efficiency as the company navigates global trends in digitalization and connectivity.

Steen brings more than 25 years of international finance leadership experience, having held senior roles across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the United States. Most recently, he served as Group CFO of DAMAC Group in Dubai, a diversified investment, real estate, and technology company with revenues exceeding USD 5 billion. His prior roles include board and senior executive positions at Fresenius Group and Heraeus, where he was Global CFO and CEO for Fresenius Kabi AG in Asia. His expertise in financial strategy, transformation, and global growth is expected to strengthen AT&S's financial management and capital allocation.

Ingolf Schröder will step down from the Executive Board but remain with the company as EVP, leading the Business Unit Microelectronics.
