Aquinas Senior Living Scales Teton AI Monitoring Platform Across Pennsylvania Portfolio, Achieves 99.8% Resident Adoption

Aquinas Senior Living, Inc. has announced the expansion of its integrated resident safety ecosystem powered by Teton's proactive care platform across its Pennsylvania portfolio. Following a benchmark-setting deployment at Heritage Springs Memory Care in Montoursville, the company has successfully launched the system at its Wynwood House communities in State College and Centre County, achieving 99.8% resident and family adoption. The Teton system went live at Wynwood House State College on April 1, 2026, and at Wynwood House Nittany Valley in Centre County on April 8, 2026.

Teton's AI technology uses passive optical sensors installed in resident rooms, requiring no wearables or manual calibration. Privacy is prioritized: no video is streamed live, no audio is captured, and movement data is processed locally. Care teams receive safety signals and anonymized clips when needed. The platform is HIPAA compliant and SOC 2 certified. Teton's research, analyzing more than 2,000 falls across four countries, found that measurable signals such as night-time movement patterns and sleep disruption consistently precede falls by hours or days.

As part of the expansion, one Aquinas facility is serving as the official Beta test site for the integrated E-call resident call system. This technology combines fall detection and manual assistance requests into a single interface, reducing alarm fatigue and helping staff prioritize critical needs. The integration aims to move care from reactive to proactive, with goals to prevent falls and improve quality of life.

Stephen J. Schmid, President and CEO of Aquinas Senior Living, stated, 'What we saw in Montoursville was the proof of concept; what we are seeing today in State College and Centre County is proof of scale with near universal adoption.' Jim Burnham, Chief Operating Officer, added, 'By integrating Teton's computer-vision AI with our new E-call resident response system, we are moving away from disparate point solutions toward a truly unified ecosystem.'

Katie Grant, President U.S. for Teton, commented, 'The reality of moving care from reactive to proactive is that it changes the quality of life for residents. A fall that doesn't happen, a hospitalization avoided, a family member who sleeps better at night knowing their loved one is safe.'

The Aquinas roadmap continues to accelerate, with the Teton platform scheduled for adoption at the Lewisburg community in May 2026. For more information about Teton, visit teton.ai. To learn more about Aquinas Senior Living, go to aquinasseniorliving.com.
