American Fusion Expands North Texas Operations, Advances Texatron Testing and Patent Portfolio

American Fusion (OTC: AMFN) has announced a series of operational and technology milestones, including a headquarters relocation to the Fort Worth metropolitan area, progress toward a testing agreement with Texas Tech University, and expansion of its intellectual property portfolio. The updates, announced July 1, reflect several parallel initiatives intended to support the company's long-term commercialization strategy (https://ibn.fm/5m9td).

The company said it is relocating its operations from Midland, Texas, to the Fort Worth metropolitan area, where engineering, fabrication, laboratory and administrative functions will ultimately operate from a single integrated facility. According to management, the move will occur in two phases and is expected to consolidate the company's capabilities under one roof, enhancing operational efficiency as it scales its fusion energy development efforts.

American Fusion is also progressing toward a testing agreement with Texas Tech University for both its 5MW and 500kW Texatron Fusion Engine platforms. The company expects university testing infrastructure to accelerate portions of its development program, with initial testing activities targeted as early as July. This collaboration could provide American Fusion with access to specialized facilities and expertise, potentially speeding up the validation of its fusion technology.

In addition, the company has filed seven additional U.S. patent applications to expand intellectual property surrounding the Texatron Fusion Engine architecture. This builds on its existing portfolio and underscores the company's strategy to protect its proprietary technology as it moves toward commercialization. The patents cover various aspects of the fusion engine design, which the company believes could be critical for future licensing or partnering opportunities.

These developments come as American Fusion positions itself in the race to commercialize fusion energy, a field that has attracted significant investment and interest due to its potential to provide clean, virtually limitless power. By relocating to the Fort Worth area, the company aims to tap into a region with a growing aerospace and energy sector, while the university testing agreement could help bridge the gap between laboratory research and practical application.

Investors and industry observers will be watching for further updates on the testing timeline and the outcome of the patent applications. The company's ability to execute on these milestones could be key to its long-term success in the competitive fusion energy landscape.
