Allen & Allen Appoints Genoveva Border as Director of Spanish Services and Claims Consultant to Enhance Accessibility for Latino Community

Allen & Allen, a Virginia personal injury law firm, announced the addition of Genoveva Border as Director of Spanish Services and Claims Consultant in its Richmond office. Border, who brings more than 14 years of experience serving Virginia's Latino community, will oversee the development of the firm's Spanish-language services and assist clients with claims consulting and case support. The move underscores the firm's commitment to improving communication and access to legal resources for Spanish-speaking individuals and families throughout the state.

Border began her legal career in Ecuador's Court of Appeals before pursuing advanced studies in the United Kingdom. She earned a Master's degree in Human Rights Law from the University of Nottingham and a second law degree from The College of Law in Birmingham, England. After qualifying as an attorney in the U.K., she practiced corporate tax law before transitioning to personal injury law. She relocated to Virginia in 2011 and has since focused on personal injury matters, working extensively with Spanish-speaking clients.

“In personal injury law, I can support my clients experiencing traumatic situations by taking care of the legal aspects of their cases so that they can focus on healing,” Border said in a statement. Her role will involve working closely with attorneys, staff, and clients to ensure Spanish-speaking individuals receive clear explanations about legal processes, case developments, insurance matters, and available options.

Virginia's growing Spanish-speaking population has increased demand for legal services that prioritize language accessibility and culturally informed communication. Allen & Allen has continued expanding multilingual services to improve access to information and representation after serious injuries and accidents. The firm handles a broad range of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, and other matters.

Founded in 1910, Allen & Allen maintains offices throughout Virginia. Firm leaders said Border's addition aligns with its longstanding commitment to serving communities across the Commonwealth. For more information about the firm's Spanish-language services, visit Allen & Allen Spanish Services.
