Accelleron, a global technology leader in turbocharging and fuel injection for heavy-duty applications, has announced the appointment of Ravin Pillay-Ramsamy as President of its Service Division and a member of the Executive Committee, effective October 1, 2026. Based in Baden, Switzerland, Pillay-Ramsamy will succeed Roland Schwarz, who has been named CEO of OMT, an Accelleron company specializing in fuel injection. Klaus Heim, the current CEO of OMT, will retire at the end of September 2026.
The appointment comes at a pivotal time for Accelleron as it accelerates its focus on sustainability in the marine and energy industries. Daniel Bischofberger, CEO of Accelleron, expressed enthusiasm: "We are very pleased to welcome Ravin to Accelleron. He brings extensive international leadership experience in industrial services, engineering, business development and M&A, combined with deep expertise in power generation, oil and gas, and industrial infrastructure. His proven track record in leading global service organizations will be highly valuable as we continue to strengthen our service business and create value for our customers worldwide."
Pillay-Ramsamy joins Accelleron from Sulzer, where he serves as Division President Services and a member of the Executive Committee. His career includes senior leadership roles within Sulzer's Services division across EMEA and Asia Pacific, and earlier, at Turbine Services Ltd. in the United States, where he held positions as Business Development Director and Vice President Engineering. He holds a Global MBA from Columbia Business School and London Business School, a Master's degree in Management and Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University.
This leadership change underscores Accelleron's commitment to enhancing its service offerings, which are critical for the reliability and efficiency of turbocharging and fuel injection systems. The service division plays a key role in supporting customers through the energy transition by providing maintenance, upgrades, and digital solutions that optimize performance and reduce emissions. With Pillay-Ramsamy's extensive background in industrial services and his experience in global markets, Accelleron aims to further expand its service footprint and deepen customer relationships.
