45Drives has announced the first wave of featured speakers for its fourth annual Creator Summit, scheduled for October 20-22 at the Skyline Center in Wilmington, North Carolina. The event, which has become a premier gathering for enterprise technology leaders, infrastructure architects, creators, and the open-source community, will explore the future of private AI, data sovereignty, enterprise storage, automation, and AI-powered creative workflows.
Confirmed speakers include leaders from Unraid (Lime Technology), which recently announced a strategic partnership with 45HomeLab to deliver purpose-built server platforms for the self-hosting community. The partnership emphasizes open infrastructure, user ownership, and freedom from vendor lock-in—principles central to the Creator Summit. Also speaking are representatives from JR Automation, a Hitachi Group company and global provider of advanced manufacturing automation and robotics, offering insights into industrial automation and intelligent manufacturing.
Wendell Wilson, founder of Level1Techs and a leading voice on enterprise hardware, Linux, AI infrastructure, and open computing, will address the audience. Jeff Geerling, bestselling author and YouTube creator known for content on self-hosting, Raspberry Pi, and open-source technologies, will also speak. Tom Lawrence, founder of Lawrence Systems and an expert in networking, cybersecurity, and enterprise infrastructure, rounds out the initial lineup.
Dr. Doug Milburn, CEO of 45Drives, stated, "The technologies transforming AI, enterprise infrastructure, and digital creativity aren't being built in isolation. They're emerging from communities that believe in openness, collaboration, and sharing knowledge. Creator Summit exists to bring those communities together."
This year's event features dedicated tracks. The Enterprise Track will cover private AI infrastructure, high-performance storage, cybersecurity, virtualization, and data sovereignty. The Creative Track will examine AI's impact on content creation, filmmaking, and design. Attendees can participate in person or via a global livestream with keynotes, technical sessions, panel discussions, and hands-on workshops.
Additional speakers and sessions will be announced throughout the summer. Registration is open at 45drives.com/creator-summit. 45Drives designs open-source data storage and private AI solutions that give organizations control over their data, operating 45HomeLab for the self-hosting community.
