The 560SL was offered exclusively in North America from 1986 to 1989 and is considered the most powerful and refined iteration of the R107 chassis.
Under the hood, the 560SL features a 5.5-liter V8 engine factory-rated at 227 horsepower and 279 lb-ft of torque, paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Power steering, a fully independent suspension, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes contribute to a driving experience defined by German precision and poise. The low mileage makes this example particularly notable, as it retains much of its original character and performance.
The interior is described as a time capsule of 1980s luxury, with automatic climate control, cruise control, electric windows, central locking, and a period carphone.
