This particular Dauphine, finished in classic black, is powered by an 845cc inline-four engine equipped with a Solex carburetor, producing 27 horsepower. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. While modest by modern standards, the car delivered freedom and flair to postwar families on both sides of the Atlantic. The interior retains a well-worn patina, with a two-spoke steering wheel showing cracking on the rim, Jaeger instrumentation featuring a horizontal-sweep 75-mph speedometer, and faded auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer reads just 21,000 miles, underscoring its historical value.
